Eddie nearly freaked out the other day when he got a random phone call.
He was driving and a random number popped up on his phone. Normally he wouldn’t answer, but for some reason he did with this call. When he picked up, the person on the other line said “Dad” twice. The voice was really deep and Eddie couldn’t make out who it was. He was nervous for a moment, until the other person on the line said “I had to borrow my friend’s phone, it’s Eddie Jr. and you need to pick me up here.” He was so relieved that it was his son, but he felt bad not realizing it was him.
Turns out, Eddie’s oldest son’s voice has gotten deeper. However, Eddie hadn’t ever heard his new, deep voice over the phone yet so he didn’t recognize it.
