Last week we heard about Eddie possibly getting scammed at the gas station.
A woman walked up to him asking to use his credit card because the gas station wasn’t accepting cash. She had $40 in cash to give him, if she was able to use his credit card for $40. Eddie allowed her to use his credit card, and he thought everything was fine. Until he told The Bobby Bones Show and everyone said he likely got scammed in a skimmer situation.
Today (July 28) he shared an update on everything. He tried calling the gas station to see if they didn’t accept cash that day, but he never heard back from them. But in the last week, he has yet to see any fraudulent charges on that credit card so he thinks the situation was legit.
