Adam Mazzeo is a U.S. Army soldier who has been stationed in California.
In a video posted to TikTok, Mazzeo shared that he hadn’t seen his mother in over 8 months since deploying to California. He traveled home to Rochester, New York and decided to surprise her instead of telling her he was coming home for a visit. He walked in during the middle of her shift at Pixley’s restaurant. She walked by him several times and didn’t recognize it was him.
It wasn’t until Mazzeo’s mother approached his table and heard his voice that she actually realized it was him. After that, there were hugs and lots of tears.
