TMSG: Firefighters in Training on Frozen Lake Save Two Teens

Maryland Heights Fire Protection District crews were wrapping up training on water rescues in Missouri when they went into real life saving mode.

The crews spotted two people running across the Creve Coeur Lake when the ice covering the lake broke. Both people fell into the water. The training firefighters along with Pattonville and Creve Coeur firefighters quickly gathered together to pull both of the teens to safety from the ice within minutes.

The Maryland Heights fire district shared a video on their social media pages of the whole ordeal. Noting that people should stay off the ice in those situations. The teens were very lucky to be rescued within seconds because of the crews nearby.
