Last week, listener Alice called into The Bobby Bones Show to share her recent terrible situation. She had fallen for a scam on social media. A scammer was acting like Trace Adkins and told her they needed over $1,000 for tickets to his show coming up in her city. Alice unfortunately fell for the scam and gave them her money.
After realizing the scam, listener Alice called into the show to share her story and hoped others wouldn’t fall for it like she did. Bones felt bad about everything and sent her two tickets to Adkins concert on his own. But that wasn’t all that happened. Fast forward to today (February 8), Adkins called the show with Alice on the line after he heard about the situation and surprised Alice with meet and greet passes to the concert as well. Now she will not only get to go to the concert but gets to meet Adkins and take a photo with him. She admitted that she hopes to hear his song “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” because it’s her favorite song as she has one.
