Elementary school principal Joseph Uy was on a Zoom call when he got an incredible surprise.
Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Yannick Ngakoue joined Woolley Elementary School’s zoom call where a meeting with Uy was being held. Ngakoue announced that the Raiders were giving the principal two tickets to Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles. The Raiders love Uy’s “let me do my part” attitude.
Recently on a national newscast, Uy shared “When we are short of substitute teachers, short-staffed with support staff, custodial, then my job is to just to step in when needed. At school, we have accepted that the mindset is all hands-on deck. Wherever there are holes, whoever is available fills in for that particular task.”
The @Raiders surprised @WoolleyElem Principal @JosephUy88 for his “let me do my part” attitude by giving him 2 tickets to Super Bowl LVI. Special thanks to @YannickNgakoue for breaking the news. @SuptJaraCCSD @CCSDCommunity pic.twitter.com/YvuU83gR3M
