Studio Debates What Alan Jackson Meant With Gift to Bobby

After Alan Jackson was on the Bobby Bones Show last year, he sent Bobby Bones a gift to thank Bones for bringing him on the show.

The gift was a guitar signed by Jackson. He wrote on the guitar “Keep it country” and then signed it. Bones wasn’t sure how to take what Jackson wrote to him. He doesn’t know if Jackson writing “Keep it country” meant that Bones needs to keep doing what he’s doing in country radio, or if Jackson is saying do better and get back to real country. The show was split on their opinions of the phrase on the guitar. Amy and Scuba Steve thought it was just a phrase and meant to be something positive. Whereas Eddie and Lunchbox thought that Jackson was telling Bones to watch what he’s doing and make sure to keep things on track.
