Our Phone Screener Abby announced on her Instagram a few weeks back that she would be running in the St. Jude Rock N Roll half marathon. She’s a St. Jude Hero and surpassed her goal of of raising $1,500. This is something she’s done every year since she lived in Nashville and loves participating in the event.
The big run happens on November 20th, but now that’s not all she will be doing. She was asked by St. Jude to sing the National Anthem before the race kicks off. They told her 17,000 runners are set to be part of the big day so she would sing to that entire crowd. Abby admitted that she’s nervous and thought they were asking her because she’s a St. Jude Hero. She also noted that she’s not sure if they’ve heard her sing before, but she said yes to doing it!
