A shocking video and daring rescue came out of the NYC subway station recently.
The Twitter account @SubwayCreatures shared a video of a man who fell out of his wheelchair and onto the NYC subway tracks. That’s when the video shows a good Samaritan jump into action. The rescuer jumped down to grab the human who fell. He frantically helps the man onto the Union Square platform as the oncoming train heads towards them.
With the help of other civilians on the platform, the rescuer is able to pull the man, the wheelchair, and himself back up just in time. The man who fell was taken to the hospital conscious and alert, and is in stable condition following the incident.
This afternoon in Union Square a man in a wheelchair somehow ended up on the subway tracks. Luckily, a Good Samaritan jumped down and rescued the man about 10s before the train came into the station.
