Can you imagine a world where Zendaya, H.E.R., and Kehlani formed a group? Because it almost happened.
While appearing on The Carlos Watson Show, Grammy-award winning artist H.E.R. shared how the trio all previously crossed paths.
“Dylan Wiggins, who is D’wayne Wiggins‘ son from Tony! Toni! Toné! We used to be in a band together,” she began. “We used to perform together when we were really young and Kehlani was actually in our band. We all used to sing together.”
“Zendaya was going to be in it at one point, the singer/songwriter added. “But yeah, they all grew up together. I came into the picture in Oakland, and we used to perform together.”
Wiggins, H.E.R., and Kehlani were three of the six members of the teen group PopLyfe. Together they appeared on season 6 of America’s Got Talent, where they finished fourth in the competition.
