Amy’s dad just moved in with them after living at senior care facility for the past few years. Thankfully, he moved in when he did so Amy and her husband could help him with a recent scamming situation right away.
During The Bobby Bones Show today (March 24), Amy shared that her father got a phone call from a bank claiming that his account was overdrawn. The person on the phone was obviously fake and trying to trick Amy’s dad into giving them his personal bank information. Thankfully he told Amy right away what happened and she was able to check online to see that his account was totally fine.
Still, Amy’s dad isn’t totally sure what all information he gave the fake bank caller due to some of his medical conditions. Amy said that it was a horrible situation and clearly the scammers were trying to take advantage of the elderly.
