Phone Screener Abby has been with the show about 6 months now and we’re all learning more about her as the time goes on. She’s originally from Wichita, Kansas, but shared on The Bobby Bones Show this morning that she moved to Nashville because of her love of singing.
Abby’s worked in the music industry for awhile now, but that hasn’t stopped her passion for singing. She showcased some of her talent on her Instagram page recently and Bones saw it. So he had her sing a little impromptu song of her choice on the show. She sang “When You Say Nothing At All” and said the situation made her a little nervous. She also shared that she actually tried out for American Idol a few years back, but didn’t make it past the first round.
Bones said if she would have auditioned while he was part of she show, he would have let her in the first round because he heard some potential in her voice. At least Abby got the golden ticket on our show!
