There is a group called ‘Trees For Troops’ that delivers thousands of Christmas trees to military bases all over the world each year. They were formed back in 2005 and each year, they deliver thousands of free Christmas trees.
While the entire charity is ran by nine people, there are hundreds of volunteers who help deliver the trees each year. Along with several hundred farmers in over 25 states donating their trees to send off.
This year, the group will deliver about 16,000 trees to bases across the country, and overseas.
In the past 15 years, the group has delivered over a quarter-million trees to troops to lift their spirits during the holiday season.
