The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office conducted compliance checks of county alcohol establishments, Monday evening, November 25, 2019. A total of 13 businesses were checked in the area of Highway 16 south of Rapid City. All 13 were found to be in compliance. No business sold alcohol to underage informants.

Country Inn Bar & Casino (AKA Three Forks Bar) – 23822 Highway 385, Hill City
Chute Rooster – 850 Chute Rooster Drive, Hill City
Krull’s Market – 531 E Main St, Hill City
Heart of the Hills Exxon – 101 Main St, Hill City
Heart of the Hills West Conoco – 632 Main St, Hill City
Silver Dollar Saloon – 24090 Highway 385, Hill City
Dollar General – 681 Main St, Hill City
Hill City Café – 209 Main St, Hill City
Barlees – 253 Swanzey St, Keystone
Keystone Country Store – 408 1st St, Keystone
Shipwreck Bar and Grill (AKA Shipwreck Lee’s) – 9356 Neck Yoke Rd, Rapid City
At each of the establishments, informants were asked for identification. Unable to provide an ID, informants were told they could not purchase alcohol. Furnishing alcohol to a minor is a class 2 misdemeanor punishable by 30 days in jail and/or a $500 fine.
