TMSG: Kindergarten Class Gives Crossing Guards Free Coffee

A group of kindergarteners at Castle Hill Elementary school in Texas are learning all about kindness. While they’re learning lessons about reading, writing, and math, their teacher is also helping them engaged in a lesson in kindness.

With the kindness challenge, one of the kindergarteners parents noticed that the crossing guards drink coffee at the same coffee shop every day. So the kindergarteners came together and got the three crossing guards gift certificates for coffee.

The five year olds all showed up to school together and presented the crossing guards with the coffee certificates, thank yous, and hugs.

Even making one crossing guard named Lisa Ratliff cry saying, “waving and talking to you guys made my day. So many of you tell me, I make your day. You have no idea.”
