Miranda Lambert Deflates Beach Ball On Stage: ‘We’re Not At The Beach!’

This weekend while performing at the Allentown Fair in Pennsylvania, Miranda Lambert made it clear, she is not a fan of beach balls.

While on stage singing, a beach ball made its way up to the country singer. Wasting no time, Lambert took a knife to the ball deflating it immediately. A fan who was in the audience captured a video of the incident and shared it to social media.

“I love y’all but we’re not at the damn beach,” Lambert said on stage. “We’re singing country music tonight.”

The video instantly captured the attention of many country music fans. “Gotta love that Miranda attitude!” one fan said. Another wrote, “Yep, that’s our Ran. You go girl. Take charge.”

Other fans revealed this isn’t the first time Lambert’s dislike for beach balls has come out on stage. “I was at the show too!” one fan commented. “Googled Miranda Lambert stabs a beach ball & it’s not the first time!! In 2016, she had a pocketknife necklace ready.”

According to Popculture, Lambert’s hatred for beach balls started as far back as a decade ago. “I hate beach balls,” Lambert told The Dial-Global (via The Boot), while opening up for Kenny Chesney’s “Sun City Carnival Tour” in 2009.

She continues on to explain, “I just feel like people are so distracted from the music when they’re trying to worry about a beach ball hitting them in the head and bouncing around like a volleyball. And people down front get hit in the back of the head, because they don’t see it coming.”

There you have it folks! Make sure you never bring a beach ball to a Miranda Lambert concert. The “It All Comes Out In The Wash” singer will kick off her “Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour” on September 13 in Connecticut.
