Dylan Scott is now a father of two!
The country singer and his wife, Blair just welcomed their second child, daughter Finley Gray on Wednesday, August 28.
Based on Scott’s Instagram post shared earlier today (August 28), it looks like his first child, son Beckett, has caught on to the big brother role. The adorable photo shows Beckett gazing down on his baby sister sweetly caressing her face.
“Beckett loves his little sister and so does momma and daddy,” Scott writes in the caption. “Everyone meet Finley Gray. Born today, 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long! I’ve watched my wife do this twice now and she is a rockstar!!!”
Scott and his wife first revealed they were expecting their second child back in March. He took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of the family of three holding up balloons spelling out “BABY.” The caption read, “Secret is out! Baby number 2 coming September 2019!”
He initially heard the news around Christmas time when Blaire surprised her husband with the big news at a family gathering. Although Scott admits he’s not usually an emotional guy, in that moment he started to tear up. “You don’t realize how much you can love a human being until you have your own child,” he shared with People. “People tell you that and I didn’t even quite understand it. I have nieces and nephews and I love them to death, but when it’s yours, it’s totally different.”
Congrats to the couple on the new addition to the family, Finley Gray.
