Brett Eldredge Says “Why Not?” To SPAM

Fall is looming, and pumpkin spice flavored items and scents are imminent.

The strangest pumpkin spice combination Cody Alan has spotted so far in 2019, has been America’s famous potted meat delight, SPAM. That’s right. Pumpkin spice spam is on the way to grocery store shelves, and Brett Eldredgesays that he will try it!

“That’s so wrong, I will probably try it though,” laughs Brett. “What’s it gonna hurt?”

As it turns out, Brett’s pallet is rather adventurous. The “Love Someone” singer shared that he has tried some bizarre food combinations. “I think one of the weirdest things that I have ever tried is “scrapple.” Have you heard of that?”

“No,” replied Cody inquisitively.

“It’s up in the northeast, and it’s like, ugh, a lot of ground animal parts. It’s kind of like SPAM, it’s a lot of extra stuff, and they put syrup on it and fry it. So that was one of the more interesting things, I won’t say that it was my favorite thing, but it was interesting.”

“Sounds like of delicious,” said Cody. “You have to try it out. It’s not bad!” laughed Brett.

After doing a little Wikipedia research, we feel the need to disclose the definition of “Scrapple” for anyone who doesn’t know.

“Scrapple: Traditionally a mush of pork scraps and trimmings combined with cornmeal and wheat flour, often buckwheat flour, and spices. The mush is formed into a semi-solid congealed loaf, and slices of the scrapple are then pan-fried before serving. Scraps of meat leftover from butchering, not used or sold elsewhere, were made into scrapple to avoid waste.”
