Blake Shelton Still Not Over Adam Levine Leaving ‘The Voice’

Blake Shelton can’t seem to get over his frenemy Adam Levine leaving ‘NBC’s The Voice.’ However, the “God’s Country” singer says having his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani on the show softens the blow.

“You know, when you’re a coach on there and trying to navigate and keeping in mind that you are supposed to be entertaining the audience at home, you know, it’s kind of a juggling act.” Blake said in a statement with press. “So, having her there, selfishly for me made me happy and I think it kind of saved the show with Adam going away.”

The Voice returns to NBC on September 23rd with Kelly Clarkson and John Legend as coaches for the 17th season.
