This Friday (August 9) more Miranda Lambert music is coming! The country star turned to social media on Wednesday (August 7) to share a short teaser video of her new song, “Mess With My Head.”
This is the third song fans have heard from Lambert’s upcoming new album expected to drop this fall. Her lead single, “It All Comes Out In The Wash” was released on July 18 along with an additional new song, “Locomotive.”
Lambert had previously debuted the energetic anthem, “Locomotive” back in June during her set at Nissan Stadium for the 2019 CMA Festival. Fans raved about her powerful performance of the song and anxiously awaited the official release date. This was the very first glimpse Lambert gave of what’s to come on the forthcoming album.
Although the album is complete, she still has yet to announce the title or specific details on the tracklist. Based on a recent interview Lambert had with the Chicago Suntimes, fans can expect, “old Miranda, but Miranda at a whole new level.”
“It’s not going to be love song overload or anything like that. I made a career on being a rock and roller and I think fans are going to hear that throughout,” Lambert explains. “And yeah, there is a vibe of being happy and that goes through this album. I am really really happy,” she adds referencing her marriage to Brendan McLoughlin.
The happy couple tied the knot back in January but didn’t announce it publicly until just after Valentine’s Day in February of 2019. Since then, they’ve slowly opened up more about their relationship. Just the other day, Lambert shared a video of McLoughlin making her fried chicken while the two enjoy a “Sunday Funday” outside.
