Between his crazy schedule out on the road, rocking stages at massive stadiums across the country, Luke Bryan, still finds time to enjoy the simpler things in life, like fishing.
In a sweet video the country star posted to his Instagram, he enjoys his favorite hobby alongside his older son, Bo. He writes in the caption, “It doesn’t get any better than this.” Fellow country singer, Jake Owen shared his thoughts commenting on the video, “Dude…the best. Can’t believe how big he is now.”
“Christmas in August, baby,” Bryan remarks. His son then replies, “Christmas, we’re fishing!” Like father, like son! The video continues showing clips of the two catching a few fish out of the lake and enjoying the quality time with each other.
Finding time like this to enjoy with family can be difficult to come by with a schedule like Bryan’s. The country megastar is out on the road all summer for his “Sunset Repeat Tour.”
Additionally, he just announced on Monday (August 5) that he’ll be returning as a judge for Season 3 of American Idol on ABC. Fellow judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will also be back for another season.
He shared the news on social media writing, “The trio is getting back together! Ready for another season of laughs, tears and wigs flying on @AmericanIdol. Get out there and audition! You never know, #TheNextIdol could be you…”
The audition process for the third season started back on July 23 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and will run through September traveling across the country to discover new talent. The new season of American Idol will premiere in the spring of 2020. This is the 18th season of the singing competition.
