This is crazy! Country singer, Kane Brown just took to Instagram to share a video he took of a dangerous rattlesnake he found slithering around on his property. Based on the video, the “Homesick” singer didn’t seem know at the moment exactly what kind of snake it was, but after noticing the rattle, he knew it wasn’t good.
“Babe, are you kidding me?” Brown’s wife, Katelyn Jae gasps at the beginning of the clip. “We’re moving! What is that? What is that? What is that?” she repeatedly asked. “What’s crazy is, that looks like it’s got a rattle,” Brown adds.
The video instantly received a ton of comments from fans and fellow country music artists. Some were totally disgusted at the snake, while others had a more positive comment view the situation.
Chris Young and Karen Fairchild both were short and direct with their comments. Young wrote, “Bro. Move,” while Fairchild simply commented, “No.”
Mitchell Tenpenny chimed in writing, “Ha dawg that’s a rattlesnake.”
“Where is this?” Chris Lane asked. “I can’t move there.”
Jimmie Allen adds a bit of sarcastic (or what I’d hope to be sarcastic) humor to the mix saying, “Dude grab it. Save it for me. Love snakes.”
After getting away from the venomous rattlesnake safely, the two were able to joke around about the incident. “Almost done packing,” Brown’s wife jokingly says. “Movers will be here in an hour.”
While I’m sure the thought crossed her mind for a second, the two really don’t have any plans to move. The couple announced in April that they are expecting their first child later this year.
Brown shared with People that their lives haven’t changed too much since finding out Jae is pregnant. “She doesn’t drink anymore- she’s a wine girl and she can’t have any wine. But other than that, it hasn’t really changed.”
