Jon Pardi‘s new music video for his latest single, “Heartache Medication” just dropped today (August 2).
The video features both Pardi and his longtime girlfriend, Summer Duncan, dancing around a country bar happily together. This is the country singer’s first time using choreography in one of his music videos.
“Singing and also dancing- it’s a big step! We had to rehearse for it,” Pardi shared with People. “This is the first time we ever used choreography. We ended up doing practives in my barn at home. It was out of my comfort zone but I love how it came out. I had a lot of fun making this video. I loved being able to dance together.”
The full music video is available to watch below. Pardi shares, “It’s my first single off the new record and I had a specific vision for how I wanted the video to look and feel. This album is a continuation of everything we were able to accomplish with California Sunrise.” He adds, “It’s just one of the videos where you just feel good when you watch it.”
Pardi’s forthcoming album, also called Heartache Medication is officially set to arrive on September 27. “There’s a lot of songs and subjects that this album talks about, and it could be sad like a loss, or just kind of down, but the songs lift you up. They put you in a higher place,” Pardi shares about the new project. Heartache Medication will include 14 songs, some of which were written by fellow country singers and songwriters, Miranda Lambert and Eric Church.
Pardi is currently out on the road with Dierks Bentley this summer for his “Burning Man Tour.” This fall, he’ll kick off his own headlining tour, the “Heartache Medication Tour” with special guest, Riley Green, The tour will kick off on October 1st and 2nd with two back-to-back sold out shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
