Miranda Lambert Shares Video Of New Yorker Husband Making Her Fried Chicken

This is what I’d call really livin’.

Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, had a little ‘Sunday Funday’ with the help of some fried chicken and Tyler Childers music.

Lambert took to Instagram Sunday (August 4) to share a video of her husband cooking up some fried chicken for her while they listen to Childers “Whitehouse Road.” She captioned the post, “I’m sweet tea sippin’ on the front porch sittin’ while my hubby fries chicken and I’m pickin’ these straaangs.” Live performance of my song, “Locomotive” airs tonight on ABC at 8/7c. @CMA fest! #locomotive (Sunday funday music by @timmytychilders)” She adds, “FYI The New Yorker took to the cast iron skillet just fine! #southern #Texan.”

The happy couple tied the knot secretly back in January and didn’t announce it publicly until just after Valentine’s Day in February of 2019. Since revealing the news, they’ve started slowly opening up more to the public. Just the other week, Lambert shared a photos to Instagram of the two enjoying a vacation to Lake Tahoe.

It’s clear they are happily married, which could mean more love songs on Lambert’s forthcoming album expected to drop sometime this fall. Based on an interview she had recently with the Chicago Sun-Times, it sounds like fans can expect a variety of songs, all staying true to who she is as an artist. “It’s not going to be love song overload or anything like that,” Lambert shares. “I made a career on being a rock and roller and I think fans are going to hear that throughout. And yeah, there is a vibe of being happy and that goes through this album. I am really, really happy.”

“It All Comes Out In The Wash” and “Locomotive” are first tracks released off Lamberts new project.
