Kelsea Ballerini is about to be on television screens across the country with the CMA Festival Special airing this Sunday (August 4) on ABC at 8/7 central. She will be on the show with co-host and fellow country artist Thomas Rhett, as well as Bobby Bones as special guest host.
She called into The Bobby Bones Show ahead of the show and told us what’s been going on lately, especially with all her buzz about new music. She shared with Bones that her new song has the word “home” in it and it’s dropping in the next few weeks. As far as the rest of her next album’s drop, dubbed “KB3” on social media, there isn’t an official date yet. Ballerini was in Chicago at the time of the phone call, because she had just ‘dropped’ in on a Lollapalooza set with The Chainsmokers.
Ballerini confessed that as much as she loves her song “This Feeling” with The Chainsmokers, she’s excited about her new music and to be working on stuff that she’s written herself.
