On a recent flight from San Diego to Nashville a 96-year old woman was terrified to fly.
She had not been on a plane in over 15 years and was very uneasy about the whole situation. She asked the man sitting next to her if she could hold his hand throughout takeoff. The man said yes and the two held hands throughout takeoff and turbulence while in air. He talked her through the whole experience and even helped her find her bag and family once they landed! The woman called him her “flight angel” saying she was so grateful for him calming her nerves!
