Chris Janson says that his feel-good song of the summer “Good Vibes” is just a sneak peek into what’s to come on his new album, ‘Real Friends.’
In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Chris shared that his third album from Warner Music Nashville is comprehensive, positive, and one that he expects will “wipe the other two albums off the board.”
Set to arrive, October 18, 2019, Chris detailed the ‘Real Friends’ album telling Cody, “It’s an 11-song record. “Good Vibes,” when we wrote that, I didn’t have plans for a new album. But, it happens to be the first song that I wrote in this process, so that’s kind of ironic! It set the narrative and set a tone for the rest of the topography of the album if you will. All of the songs have a positive sentiment in some way, shape, or form.”
Chris, who is known for his stage presence and upbeat attitude, states that he is living the dream with this new record. “I’ve never been happier in my career, and I don’t know, I’m just in a good place in my life. Which makes for a good place in my career and it’s going to be a really exciting record man.”
