Jon Pardi‘s current single and his forthcoming album’s title track, “Heartache Medication” hit country radio earlier this summer on June 3. Since then, Pardi has shared short videos to his Instagram teasing the single’s upcoming music video.
Based on the short snippets shared, it looks like the music video was filmed in a smokey country bar. His first video posted on Friday (July 26) was captioned, “#HeartacheMedication music video coming soon.” This left fans wanting more, wondering when they could expect the full video to drop. Well, thankfully for those anxious fans, he shared more details in his Instagram caption for a post he shared today which read, “Let’s put out a music video this week!” Check out both of the posts shared by Pardi to his social media below.
“Heartache Medication” is the first taste at what’s to come on Pardi’s third studio album, also called Heartache Medication. “There’s a lot of songs and subjects that this album talks about, and it could be sad like a loss, or just kind of down, but the songs lift you up. They put you in a higher place,” Pardi says about the upcoming project. The upcoming album will include 14 songs, some of which were written by fellow country singers and songwriters, Miranda Lambert and Eric Church. Heartache Medication is set to come out officially on September 27.
In addition to the new album, Pardi will also be hitting the road this fall for his headlining “Heartache Medication Tour.” The tour kicks off with back-to-back shows at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on October 2 and 3. The “Heartache Medication Tour” will run through the fall making stops in cities across the nation like Mikwaukee, Seattle, San Diego, Phoenix, and more.
