Stabbing

On July 12th at around 6:25 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of the Memorial Park band shell for a report of a stabbing involving multiple victim. On arrival, police made contact with witnesses and determine three individuals were stabbed by the same suspect. They were located and were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A suspect description was aired over the radio, and police located an individual matching the suspect description walking in the area of 4th Street and Kansas City Street. He was detained in handcuffs and identified as Nathan Sharpfish. Several witnesses were brought to this location and positively identified Sharfish as the stabbing suspect. A knife was also located nearby in the area where Sharpfish was contacted by police. Sharpfish was placed under arrest for three counts of Aggravated Assault before being transported to the Pennington County Jail.
