TMSG: A Veterinary Hospital Made A Wheelchair Out Of Legos For A Turtle

When Pedro the turtle was adopted by his owners he was already missing one of his back legs. But after a recent escape from his home, he returned missing the other back leg. His owner, Sandra, decided to take him to Louisiana State University. Thanks to the zoological medical service at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Pedro is now up and walking around like he used to.

Using a Lego car kit, veterinarians were able to come up with the best way to make Pedro mobile again! They figured this was the easiest way for Pedro to move around especially since he will be confined to the indoors from now on.
