Bobby Now Owns A Sports Team

Bobby Bones has always wanted to own his own sports team and now his dream is a reality. He has joined the soon-to-be-launched Fan Controlled Football League (FCFL) as a team owner and “fan captain.”

The FCFL will launch later this year and it is being billed as the “first professional sports league where fans call all the shots.” The games will be presented in the FCFL mobile app and TWITCH interactive video experience will give fans control over team decisions down to the plays happening on the field.

The inaugural 2019 FCFL season will feature eight teams, each led by a celebrity team owner who also serves as the team’s fan captain. Joining Bones will be NFL Stars Marshawn Lynch, Richard Sherman, and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson plus Latin music star Prince Royce, and TWITCH streamers Kinda Funny. The other remaining owners will be announced in the coming weeks.

Bones will be leading his fans in creating the brand, voice, and personality of his team, as well as helping them through key decisions like hiring and firing coaches, drafting players, and calling plays in real time. Bones said,

Becoming an owner in the FCFL was a no-brainer because the fans literally lead the way and call the shots. The league is innovative, different, and I’m excited for the #BTeam to join me in another crazy journey.”
