TMSG: Home Depot Builds 2 Year-Old A Special Walker

Logan is 2 and has hypotonia, a syndrome that impacts his muscle tone and makes stability a struggle. His parents, Christian and Justin Moore, were told by a physical therapist that a gait trainer might help Logan with walking. However, they weren’t sure if their insurance would cover the cost or when it would arrive. The couple turned to YouTube where they found a tutorial on how to make a gait trainer using PVC piping.

The couple took a trip to their local Home Depot where they asked a store manager if anyone could help them with the supply list. The employees told them to go get ice cream and come back in one hour. When they returned the walker was finished and even has Logan’s name written across the front. The couple was not charged for the supplies or the assembly of the special walker!
