TMSG: Officers Respond To Medical Call Wind Up Rebuilding Wheelchair Ramp

A group of Sunnyvale police officers responded to a home-medical call where they likely didn’t anticipate doing some manual labor. After they treated the patient they noticed the wheelchair ramp was in pretty bad shape. The elderly couple who lived there could not physically repair the ramp themselves and did not have the money to call someone else to do it. The officers said they knew they had to do something to help them out before they left.

The officers decided to pick up hammers, nails, saws, and wood to build a new wooden ramp for the couple to enter and exit their home safely.
