Amy’s Pile: College Students Turn To Therapy Donkeys To Help Them De-Stress

The State University of New York-Plattsburgh is offering students the opportunity to de-stress with therapy donkeys! The New York non-profit Thera Pets provided the donkeys. The University wanted something to offer students ahead of finals to help relieve a little stress.
This isn’t the first time schools have used furry animals as a form of therapy and stress-release. Studies have shown that animals a form of therapy and can be used to change your mood for the better. Students at The State University of New York-Plattsburgh are grateful for the furry study break!
