May is National Foster Care Month, a time to acknowledge foster parents, family members, volunteers, mentors and more who help children and youth in foster care find permanent homes and connections.
Eddie and his wife shared a few months back that they had joined the foster care system to take in kids who needed a place to stay. Shortly after their training and enrollment, they received two young kids.
He has shared updates about the progress of the kids in the home with their own two kids and how its seemingly felt like the boys were meant to be part of the family all along. All of them are best friends and really enjoy having each other to play with. It looks like all of the family time is rubbing off too, Eddie shared in his latest update that they all went out to eat at Cracker Barrel.
The waitress at the end of the meal complimented Eddie and his wife on the behavior of their kids. She said they were some of the most well-behaved group of kids she has seen.
