It is said that this song originated from a campfire song or chant but there isn’t an exact origin. The song came to popularity when a video of a toddler dancing to the melody went viral.
Now, children and families world wide have been posting adorable videos of their families dancing and singing to this family-friendly jam. Recently, a group of American soldiers marched to the tune of baby shark during one of their drills. The video was posted to Facebook and instantly went viral.
