TMSG: Teen Receives Pizzas In Hospital After Writing ‘Send Pizza’ On Window

18-year-old Cole Favro was born with cystic fibrosis. He’s spent his whole life in and out of Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester, New York.

Favro has become close to the nurses who made his frequent stays easier. In December, Favro turned 18, which meant that he will no longer be going to Golisano Hospital, but instead Highland Hospital. Before “graduating” from the children’s hospital, Favro wanted to thank the nurses and hospital staff. So he used washable paint to write a message on his hospital window,

“Send pizza to 8 south room 14”

The message worked amazingly. The first pizza arrived within an hour of his message. Then over the next two days, he received 18 pizzas with a variety of toppings, from cheese to meat lovers. One even sent cannolis to round out the meal. There was enough pizza for Favro to throw a party for the staff, who were mostly happy for the teen, but happy to enjoy some pizza in all good fun.
