A Southern California police officer is being called a hero after saving the life of a choking 9-month-old. Police officer, Brian Cappell, received a phone call of a choking baby in a nearby car. Body camera footage shows Janet Lockridge’s 10-year-old daughter, Auria, leading Cappell to her mother’s car, where her sister, Harleigh, was suffering from the life-threatening emergency.
Cappell reverted back to his training to perform CPR on the small child; eventually Harleigh began to cry to which her mother describes as the best sound in the entire world. The next day Cappell posed in a photo posted to Twitter; he received special honors to commemorate his life saving actions!
