Miranda Lambert offered up a flashy hits-filled medley performance at the 2019 ACM Awards, but the country veteran also made quite the splash on the red carpet when she made her first public appearance with her new husband, Brendan McLoughlin.
In a bright yellow dress, Lambert was all smiles as she held her purse and stood closely to McLoughlin, offering up all the newlywed glow to red carpet photographers. The 28-year-old model turned NYPD officer was there to support Lambert’s performance, as well as her two nominations. Lambert confirmed the surprise wedding in mid-February when she captioned a slideshow of romantic photos on Instagram. “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news,” she wrote. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me. ❤️ #theone.”
In related news, Lambert recently announced her “Roadside Bars & Guitars Tour,” which is scheduled to kick off in September and it’s going to be a star-studded female affair with Pistol Annies, Elle King, Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde and Caylee Hammack.
