Jake Owen Goes From Honkytonk To Hip Hop

Jake Owen admits that he is notoriously hip to hip hop.

Have you seen him rap to Notorious B.I.G.‘s “Big Poppa” and “Juicy”? “Honestly it brings me joy to do things that are different” shared Jake before busting into a few rhymes. “I can remember every word to like, every rap song known to man” he continues. “But I lost my debit card last night.”

The country singer isn’t stopping with the rap throwbacks, Jake has confirmed that he is collaborating with rapper Lil Nash X on a remix of his track “Old Town Road.” Jake tweeted the rapper saying “We can jam anytime,” after a bit of controversy when the song was pulled from the Billboard chart.
