Welcome to the world, Rosalia Jean!
Congratulations to Midland guitarist, Jess Carson, and wife, Camille as they welcomed their third child. Rosalia Jean was born on March 27th in Driftwood, Texas weighing a healthy 6-pounds, 12-ounces 18 3/4.
“Camille is the strongest woman I know,” Carson tells PEOPLE. “She wanted to do a home birth, and she did it 100 percent natural— I’m still just awestruck by her.”
Jess and Camille looked to their family tree to choose the perfect name. Baby Rosalia proudly shares her first and middle names with relatives. “Rosalia was Camille’s great-grandmother who came from Italy on a boat when she was 16 and spoke no English,” Carson explains. “Jean is after my father, whose name is Eugene, but everyone calls him ‘Gene.'”
Rosalia joins 22-month-old big brother Parker Emmanuel and 3-year-old sister Ida Mae, rounding out the trio.
The country music community has its arms and hearts full as multiple celebrity babies have been born to and more are on the way! Country stars Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Angaleena Presley, and Krystal Keith have expanded their families in 2019. While Margo Price, Randy Houser, Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard, Dylan Scott, Chris Stapleton, and Jake Owen are expecting.
