Anderson Cooper is a country music fan!
In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Anderson shared that over the years he made a few friends in the country music space, one of them being Kenny Chesney.
Was it Kenny’s barefoot beach anthems or Blue Chair Bay Rum line that initially drew the pair together? Not exactly. Nothing can beat being an authentically solid human being.
“He’s the greatest guy!” shared Anderson. “He is the only person that I’ve done a profile on for ‘60 Minutes’ who I still get a Christmas or Thanksgiving text from,” but the fair-weather holiday texts were only the beginning.
“I’ve called him up for various stories that I’ve been working on when people that I’ve met, are in a bad situation or have lost a loved one and when I am with them, and I find out that they are big Kenny Chesney fans. I’ve text him, and he’s voluntarily reached out to them without me even asking. He is just the greatest guy!”
