Prepare yourselves. Cody Alan is projecting that Brad Paisley’s new song ‘My Miracle,’ will be a top contender for 2019’s most requested wedding song.
On March 11th Paisley fans awoke to the special surprise from the country superstar. “My Miracle” follows the 2018 release of “Bucked Off,” however, unlike “Bucked Off” this track is plucking at every heartstring available.
Brad wrote the song with wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley in mind and it shares a personal and powerful message about their marriage. “I can be a little ornery when it comes to writing love songs. I don’t typically put it all out there, but in this one, I did. This is the most powerful statement I think I can make,” Brad shared with press. “The one I wrote it for (wife of 16 years Kimberly Williams-Paisley), she is my worst critic typically, but in this case I think I got it right,” shares Brad.
In a recent interview with Cody, Brad shared that he and Kimberley have developed a unique approach to their creative process as a couple.
“Does she ask you to run lines?” asked Cody knowing that Kimberly was preparing for several acting roles. “No. Never,” laughs Brad. “Well, there was a time when I tried that, and, well I am not good at that. I don’t have the patience. There is a lot of patience to be an actor; there’s a lot of patience involved in it.”
“I bet you ask her for feedback on music?” smirked Cody.
“I do, yeah. That’s important actually, depending on the song. It’s always good to hear if she likes something. She’s not wrong. She is not wrong when she has an opinion as far as being a barometer.”
