A rep for Luke told TMZ he is currently under observation at the hospital. While a family member first told the site doctors have placed him in a medically induced coma after he suffered what they called a “massive” stroke, his rep said he is not, adding Luke is merely sedated.
When paramedics arrived at the 52-year-old actor’s home, he was reportedly responsive and talking but his condition deteriorated and he was rushed to the hospital.

Luke Perry suffered a massive stroke on Wednesday (February 27).
According to TMZ, Paramedic’s responded to the Riverdale star’s Sherman Oaks home around 9:40 a.m after receiving a call about “someone suffering a stroke.” Luke was then transported to a nearby hospital.
The 52-year-old actor remains hospitalized. However, his current condition is unknown at this time.
Luke is known for his work playing Archie’s dad, Fred Andrews, on Riverdale, and Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210.
News of his stroke comes just one day after it was announced that Beverly Hills, 90210 would be returning to FOX with the original cast, excluding Luke, who did not sign on to the project.
