Rapid City police are currently investigating the unattended death of a male subject who was located in Thomson Park.
Shortly before 11:00 a.m. on February 22nd, police were called to the park for a report of an unconscious male subject in the picnic shelter. On arrival, police located the man and determined he was obviously deceased.
The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Jeremy Rockymountain of Rapid City. An autopsy has since been conducted in the investigation and turned up no signs of trauma, however toxicology and final autopsy results are pending in the case before a cause and matter of death can be determined. The investigation into Rockymountain’s death is ongoing.
