New picture and flyer for Serenity Dennard

Law enforcement agencies are now circulating a new picture and flyer of Serenity Dennard. This picture of Serenity was taken on Saturday, February 2, 2019, the day before she left the Black Hills Children’s Home in Rockerville. Since this is the most recent photo, we hope people will circulate this picture and the new flyer produced with her family’s input. The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office is working with national missing children’s groups to circulate the flyer.

Serenity Dennard is a nine year old Caucasian female, 4 foot 7 inches, 96 pounds, with blue eyes and shoulder length dark blonde hair. She was wearing only a long sleeved grey shirt with flowers, blue jeans and black snow boots–no coat. Serenity was last seen on South Rockerville Road near the Black Hills Children’s Home at around 11 am, Sunday, February 3, 2019.

Even though the weather prohibits an effective and safe outdoors search for Serenity Dennard, the investigation remains a top priority to find the missing child. Pennington County Sheriff’s Office investigators and Rapid City Police Department detectives have conducted 188 interviews, served three search warrants for records and followed more than 45 leads. The FBI and other out-of-state agencies are assisting with leads and sightings out of the area.
