Thomas Rhett is exciting fans by making his way from Sesame Street to SNL, but that’s not the only surprise that he dropped in his adorable Saturday Night Live announcement video.
TR shared a big music update alongside his trusty sidekick Willa Gray on Instagram.
In the video, TR asks his daughter a critical question. “Willa Gray, what’s daddy doing on March 2?” asks Thomas. “Saturday Night Live,” replies Willa Gray. “Make sure Y’all tune in on March 2. Playing some brand-new songs off of a brand-new record. It’s gonna be fun ya’ll.”

Other country stars to grace the SNL set include Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Dixie Chicks, Johnny Cash, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, and Dolly Parton.
