In 2018, The Bobby Bones Show along with The Shop Forward released a retro line of #PIMPINJOY shirts to go towards the program K9s for Warriors. The program provides service dogs to those suffering from post-traumatic stress disability (PTSD). $20K is needed for one service dog. Thanks to the listeners of the show, there was enough money raised – over $100K – to sponsor six service dogs.
Those 6 service dogs were named after members on the show. The names were drawn out of a hat during a live show and the dogs were named Bobby, Amy, Lunchbox, Raymundo, Morgan2 and Eddie, respectively.
Bones just got word a couple days ago that his dog named “Bobby” is currently in training. Stay tuned for when the other dogs will get their training.
Happy Friday!
