Watch Kelly Clarkson’s Amazing Cover Of Miranda Lambert’s ‘Tin Man’

Kelly Clarkson saluted her sister in song Miranda Lambert during the kick-off show for her new tour.

The American Idol winner celebrated the launch of her “Meaning of Life Tour” last night (January 24) with an exciting set at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. After belting out a bevy of her greatest hits, including favorites like “Walk Away,” “Because of You,” and “Piece by Piece,” Clarkson went on to fulfill a fan request to perform also Lambert’s beloved country record “Tin Man” on opening night as well.

Thankfully, the superstar has promised to go live on Facebook every night of her jaunt, which means you can witness the glory from home!

“She is one hell of a writer!” Clarkson said of Lambert following her performance. “I hope I did it justice, Miranda. I love that song … I was cleaning out my closet and I had my phone on and that came on and I was like, ‘Whaaaat?’ I was bawling. I was a sobbing mess.”

“There’s nothing greater than a writer writing something that you feel like you’ve felt,” she added. “I know that sounds so cheesy but it’s the most connecting thing ever and I adore it.”

Clarkson will continue with her “Meaning of Life” trek, alongside opening acts Kelsea Ballerini and Brynn Cartelli, through March 30 with her final show in Greenville, South Carolina. For more dates and ticket details, click here.
