After weeks of rumored tension between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, it seems like the royal sisters-in-law settled their differences over the holidays. According to Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex had a frank discussion on Christmas day to air their grievances.
“Kate opened up about feeling like Meghan had used her to climb the royal ladder,” a source revealed. Meghan, on the other hand, shared that she felt snubbed by her sister-in-law. “Being under the same roof meant that they couldn’t avoid each other.”
Queen Elizabeth must be super relieved that any lingering ill will between the Duchesses has been handled. The 92-year-old monarch had “reached her limit with all the drama,” according to another source, and “desperately wanted Meghan and Kate to make up and she got her wish!”
The best way to enter a new year is definitely with a fresh start. It looks like Kate and Meg did just that!
